The workhorse material in all Nu-Science Lube products is Enduravite™(“FR99”). FR99 is a complete departure from lubrication technologies that have been in use prior to its existence.
What it does:
Available in concentrate or in mixture with other lubricating media, Enduravite™ FR99 dramatically cuts wear on metal parts in any application where a significant level of friction is present. It cleans metal surfaces, dissolves oxide or rust, and stops further corrosion to metal. It also prevents the reactions that create toxins within petroleum lubricated systems. It sustains itself for an amazing length of performance, not for so many hours or weeks, but months, even years.
FR99 handles even the extreme applications, all of them, combined or separately, extending Mean Time Between Failure to hundreds of percent improvement. Most of the frictional wear on metal surfaces is actually the result of weakened metal from corrosion. Corrosion on metal is catalyzed by environmental elements in air and moisture present within lubricated systems, and even by some additives which are intended to increase fluid film strength for better lubricating capabilities. For decades, additives of mostly chlorinated ions gave lubricants the ability to perform better in different applications. Nu-Science Lube FR99 blocks the environmental elements from contacting treated metal surfaces. When there is no oxygen or other catalyst, there is no corrosive reaction. This is also true of Fluid Film Strength technology, except that Fluid Film Strength falls far short of full effectiveness. The performance of FR99 is sustained far beyond that of any Fluid Film Strength technology, and beyond that of materials defined as “surface modifiers” or “nano-technologies”. When friction occurs and one surface contains ferrous metal (carbon steels, stainless steels, cast iron, high alloys). Enduravite™ FR99 catalyzes non-corrosive reactions on Ferrous metal friction points causing phase transformation into Duravite™. Duravite™ is a densified molecular structure of Ferrous atoms that is extremely durable, extremely hard and extremely slick with continuous embedded lubricity. The coefficient of friction drops to .001, which is sustained, and then tends to reduce even further. With the resulting absence of friction, heat or corrosion, metal wear is reduced to nearly nothing compared to other means of lubrication. The increases in wear life exceed 1000% in many applications and nearly never less than 300%. Fluid Film Strength technology has a trade-off. Enduravite™ FR99 provides the best of both. Corrosion is eliminated, plus friction reduction far surpasses the capabilities of Fluid Film Strength technology.
Nu-Science Lube is a proprietary new material derived from plant materials grown in the USA, and chemically modified to act as a metal protector and surface enhancer, cleaner and degreaser. It mixes readily with petroleum and other lubricants, including materials such as soybean or corn oil. Nu-Science Lube FR99 concentrate only uses a lubricant as a “carrier” to take it to the places where friction and wear normally occur, where it dramatically reduces friction and wear on ferrous and certain other metals. Because it is bio-based, it is a safe product for people, animals and our environment. FR99 stops the creation of toxins that always occur within petroleum based lubricated systems, which makes it an environmental protector as well as metal protector. Available in concentrate or in mixture with other lubricating media, the acting material FR99 cleans metal surfaces, penetrates the substrate and bonds to metals at the molecular level with a strong chemical bond. ASTM and most recognized test methods for lubricants were developed for comparing performances of standard technology lubricants. Nu-Science Lube technology far surpasses the standards of ASTM. Using ASTM testing is like comparing standard automotive performance to the performance of an aircraft. You only get to compare how an aircraft rolls on the ground, not how it excels in transportation speed and efficiency. If you are familiar with FZG testing, Nu-Science Lube is off-the-charts, ridiculously surpassing any lubricant ever tested.
